She then moved into a permanent part-time receptionist role, where she developed valuable skills over the years and often assisted veterinarians with both small and large animal patients.

Leiah’s favourite part about working at Burpengary Family Vets is getting to know the team and seeing everyone grow into their roles while building a strong, supportive environment. The most rewarding part of her job is client satisfaction—seeing clients leave with a positive experience from the moment they arrive is very important to her. Whether welcoming new clients or familiar faces, providing a great experience for both pets and their owners is what motivates her.

Outside of work, Leiah enjoys spending time with her partner, exploring the outdoors, and caring for her horse, Shammy, who has been part of her life for ten years and means the world to her. She also wishes more people understood that the job isn’t about the money—veterinary staff genuinely care about pets and their owners. Something the BFV team knows about Leiah is that she also works in traffic control three days a week.

Favourite Breed of dog: Kelpie
Favourite Breed of cat: Maine Coon
If you could have any superpower what would it be: To teleport

Seren

Administration

Information coming soon

Favourite Breed of dog:
Favourite Breed of cat:
If you could have any superpower what would it be:

Dr Trent Raeburn BVSc (hons) Principal Veterinarian & Director Dr Trent Raeburn has had a remarkable career in the veterinary industry, which has taken him all across Australia, working in a variety of small and mixed animal clinics.
